 Materials:  

      A picture of children sharing and a picture of children not sharing
 
 Introduction:

Ask children if they understand the term "sharing." Allow discussion.

Objective/Purpose:

Child will learn the concept of sharing.

Procedure:

1. Show the children the picture of the children sharing and discuss what they see in the picture.

2. Show the children the picture of the children NOT sharing and discuss what is happening in the picture.

3. Ask children how the children in the picture could have shared, supporting all answers.

 Practice & Extended Activities:

Children can draw their own pictures of ways they have shared with their friends and these can be put up in the classroom as a reminder to share.
