was written for parents, teachers, child care providers, or
professionals working with children who have been identified as having
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) or children with high energy or
hyperactivity levels.
You need not have prior education or experience in order to take this course. It is written in easy to understand language.

will learn: 1. How to identify ADHD. 2. The causes of ADHD. 3. What treatments are available for ADHD. 4. How to solve behavior problems associated with ADHD in the home or classroom.

| All reading
materials are included in this course so you need not purchase any other
materials. You will be asked to visit some other sites on the Internet
for additional information and as part of your class assignments.

| Grading Policy | |||
| The
assignments for this course equal 150 points. You can earn 60 points for
completing 5 10-point, true/false, multiple choice quizzes. You can take
the quizzes as many times as necessary to achieve the grade you desire.
In addition, there are several assignments asking you to visit other
website related to the class readings and to post your opinions about
those sites on the 'Message Board'. You are also asked to review a book
on ADHD at amazon.com. All links are provided for you.
