When Time Out & Stickers Don't Work
|
||
| One in every twenty
preschoolers today will be incarcerated for committing a crime in
adulthood. Research has proven that intervention in the early years,
when behavior patterns are first being formed, is crucial to prevent
future violence and crime.
Learn common reasons why children misbehave and what you can do about it from a behavioral health specialist with 25 years experience. This course is designed for educators, parents, and child care providers and has been taught by the professor at a university, state, and national level on several occassions. You do not need prior education or experience to take this course. It is designed to help you learn at your own pace and in your own style. I am available nearly every day to assist you in any problems or with questions. I recognize that, for many of you, this is your first online educational experience, and I want to make it a good one! When you have completed all of the course requirements, you are eligible for a Certificate of Attendance or Merit so that you have written proof of your achievement. In addition, you may earn other certificates, depending on your accomplishments. An A in the course (90%) will earn you a Certificate of Academic Excellence that can be framed and put on your wall. In addition, Letters of Recommendation are available upon completion of the course. The letter can be used to help you secure employment in a related field. By completing this course, you will have the basic understanding of how to effectively tackle behavior problems -- a real plus if you are a parent, educator, or child care provider. Behavior Management is one of the most difficult aspects of parenting or teaching and earning a certificate in this area is greatly respected by professionals who hire staff in associated areas. |
